*- Andrew Armstrong replaced Crosby for the final night due to injuries sustained earlier in week

Elite women racers also took to the boards, with National Champion Steph Roorda laying claim to the Burnaby Six Day Elite Womens Omnium.

The last day of the 2008 Burnaby Six Day also featured the Kiddie Kilo, with 25 kids under 10 racing around the warm up track to the cheers of parents and racers.

During the evening, spectators were entertained by a four piece rock band in the infield and by the antics of urban fixed gear cyclists as they ran several competitions including a running start scratch race and a foot-down challenge.

The Burnaby Velodrome Club would like to thank all our sponsors and many volunteers for helping to make this one of our best events ever.

100 Lap 10 x 10 Madison
The first race of the final night was a fast 100 lap Madison. Symmetrics and Slipstream both took one lap on the tired field. US National rode a strong race, and were able to cushion their lead over Team dEVo by another lap.
